description:
flowers in midsummer, originated in the 16th century as the symbol of Scottish Jacobites, it is medium sized, deciduous, and thrives in an upright, bushy habitat, thet have divided grey-green leaves with thorns, the white flower blooms during July with a strong and sweet fragrance. It is 6m tall and usually lives up to 2-5 years, taking its place as one of the longest living species of roses. They have biological properties such as antioxidant, antimicrobal, antifungal, and memory enhancement.

environmental concern(s):
rose oil industries are generating increasingly larger amounts of wastes from low content essential oils from the rose petals of the Rosa Alba. Discarding the waste biomass can lead to ecological problems due to water pollution and habitat altercations.
