Our mission is to preserve Earth’s climate, mitigate the impacts of urbanization, and protect endangered plant species through education and environmental policies. We do this by planting at local nurseries, and posting about various plant species and their environmental stressors!
What does ‘Beneath the Bough’ mean?
We took inspiration from the term ‘bough,’ which refers to the main branch of the tree, to evoke an image of being under a protective and nurturing canopy. Just as boughs provide us with shade, shelter, and other ecosystem services, we believe that we also have a duty to protect and appreciate the biodiversity that surrounds us.
