Description

Is a small perennial herb, typically growing up to about 30-40 centimeters (12-16 inches) in height, and has slender stems with narrow, linear leaves that are usually less than 2 centimeters long. Its flowers are arranged in compact clusters at the ends of the stems, and are typically less than 1 centimeter across. The Monterey spineflower blooms from late spring to early summer, usually from May to July.
