Description:

Characterized by its smooth stem which has occasional thorns scattered throughout. Flowers have pink and white flowers which have five petals. Flowers have a sweet and fruity scent. Petals have a white base and turn pink towards the edges. Imported to areas around the world. Can grow up to 10 feet tall. Is sometimes used for medicinal purposes.

Distribution/Location:

Native to Asia, Europe, North America, and Northwestern Africa.

Environmental Concerns:

Climate change, droughts, and heavy rainfall can all damage the plant/flower. Rise in temperatures at the wrong time can also affect the growth and lifespan of the flowers. Is considered a environmental weed.
